Training EmphasisWalt specializes in athlete development with an emphasis on speed & power training, Good Form Running℠, sprints and jumping events (track & field) and strength & conditioning for football, basketball, tennis, and soccer. Walt has an extensive background in post-rehabilitation training for those recovering from injury or surgery and he is well versed in all aspects of general fitness training.
Other InformationWalt has worked with many athletes at the high school, collegiate, Olympic and professional level during 22 years as a trainer and coach. He was a collegiate high jumper at the University of Oregon, has a lifetime best jump of 7'-2 ½" and is a two-time USA Track & Field national champion at the Masters level (over-40). Walt received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Biomechanics from the University of Oregon in 1986 and lives with his wife, Sharon, and twin sons, Samuel & Quinton in Haslett, Michigan.
